The 2016 GRAMMY Awards Nominations: Kendrick Lamar Leads The Pack With 11 Nods

Kendrick Lamar is nominated for “Song of The Year” for his To Pimp A Butterfly protest song “Alright.” Kendrick’s sophomore album is also nominated for the coveted “Album of The Year” award, along with The Weeknd, Taylor Swift, Chris Stapleton, and Alabama Shakes.
Despite having four Top 10 hit songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, surprisingly, Fetty Wap didn’t get nominated for “Best New Artist” this year. Fetty was, however, nominated for two GRAMMYs – “Best Rap Performance” and “Best Rap Song.” Overall, Kendrick leads the pack with 11 nominations
